Backpacking is often referred to as a form of independent and low-cost travel, but there is something more about it. Backpacking also involves giving your routine up in order to pursue the lifestyle of travelling and experiences. The show’s host, Fabien, is determined to leave behind his business and home in London to pursue this amazing adventure. Together with his team, he is taking the concept of backpacking to a completely new level by using a light private aircraft as a primary mean of transport and filming everything on the way. With no pre-planned route, limited budget and no particular reason in mind the team will be exploring the world asking themselves and others the big question: “What are we doing this for?”. And any action taken along the journey will always be for this or for that reason.

-SKYPACKING CONNECTING PEOPLE-

Most of the time the main focus of piloting, even when it comes to cross-country flights, is to complete a route, get a logbook stamp and head further. This time we are taking a completely different approach by flying solely for the sake of fun, taking the aircraft to the most picturesque and inaccessible spots in the world and engaging with strangers and wanderers along the route. The company is relying on strong digital media strategy that involves extensive coverage on such channels as Instagram, Twitter and Telegram. Moreover, on the #FORTHISFORTHAT YouTube channel, Fabien will host an innovative social exploration show putting strong social engagement with locals and nomads at the core of it.

- OUR AUDIENCE -

Our current production communicates to people that are adventurous by nature but didn’t have an opportunity yet to explore the wonders of the world. We want to inspire our followers by creating a content that is so real and down to earth that it feels like being a part of the adventure. Moreover, our audience will be encouraged to participate in planning the route and activities on the ground that will help us to create the most relevant content possible. The target demographics are broad, including men and women of the age 16 to 40+ regardless of their nationality, religion or social class. The content will be presented in English, however, Russian and French subtitles will be offered.
